The Rum & Crab Shack was dreamt up late one night in St Ives, Cornwall, in 2012 by four friends keen to celebrate two of their favourite things in life: rum and crab. Some years later, an impressive collection of over 100 rums gathered from around the world sits on the shelves of the harbour-front shack. 2020 sees the launch of the shack’s second house rum: the delicious Stargazy rum liqueur that joins a rapidly increasing list of UK rums.

Deadmans Fingers
The idea was to develop a Rum & Crab Shack in-house rum, and we came up with Dead Mans’ Fingers spiced and launched it at Port Eliot Festival, Cornwall. Needless to say it was alot of fun. Since then many more people around the world have enjoyed Dead Man’s Fingers, and come from far and wide to visit its spiritual home on the harbour front in St Ives.
Stargazy
Our newest creation, Stargazy Cosmic Caramel, is an indulgently moreish liqueur that takes rum to another dimension. The follow-up to our Dead Man’s Fingers spiced, Stargazy is a perfect balance of aged rum, caramel, Cornish sea salt, subtle hints of Gorseflower and coconut.
Ideal served as a shot, sipped chilled or in an espresso martini. Drink as you wish but whatever you do … Keep it Cosmic!
